I did complete the playlist, but I used a blindfold when listening to it. I didn't really "do" anything except for lie there and listen to it. I only took the blindfold off to go to the toilet etc.
After the trip, I read a book "The Mind Workout / You Are Not a Rock" (same book, different title depending on where you live in the world) by Mark Freeman. I do think that applying the practices from the book after having the trip helped me integrate the "learnings" from the trip better.
