Hi Murali. Yes, totally agree – there's validity in any view, like the analogy of "blind men feeling different parts of the elephant". I can't find any remarks where Ramana directly criticised anyone else with a "different view", and he in fact encouraged other views, even on occasion telling Westerners to stay as Christians rather than become Hindu.

Without getting into the whole "advaita vs dvaita" debate (and i'm not necessarily a diehard Advaitin myself), it does seem there is a tendency in some online Dvaita resources (mainly from ISKCON from what I've read) to disparage Advaita teachings as "foolish" or label them as "Mayavada". I struggle to understand that, as it's not something I've seen from other schools of Vedanta, and I have yet to see Advaitins ridiculing other schools of Vedanta. It's strange when you consider these teachings all share the same origins in many cases. But that is how it is, so it is how it must be. Thank you for sharing your comments.
